A late summer’s day found the Fairytales team at The Red Barn Villa, in Oregon City, for J & P’s wedding. J&P booked Fairytale’s Partial Planning package which had us doing monthly video meetings, lots of text messages and some in person venue walkthroughs. We mixed jewel tones and traditional Guatemalan decor for a gorgeous Portland wedding. Fairytales assisted in finding the perfect team of vendors for the day and creating a cohesive guest experience from the courtyard bar and ice cream service, to the woodland ceremony arbor.
Garden weddings are on trend for the year and Red Barn offers multiple scenes to play with that feel. Their covered patio is perfect for saving guests from the afternoon heat and has all the plug ins for a live band or DJ, of which this wedding had both in Blue Wave Band and Stumptown DJs! Dessert was ice cream supplied by The Mobile Scoop Shop which was perfect for the warm day.
The table centerpieces were glass hurricane vases with floating candles and tea light votives, rented from Fairytales Event Design, and wood rounds from Power of Love Rentals. A touch of greenery and a customized table trivia game finished the minimalist yet elegant table decor.
